Our Founding Story
On June 25, 2022, God gave birth to what would become Rise Up and Walk Girls Inc.
Founder Nikki G. Avie was in prayer, seeking direction for a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young girls. She knew the word RISE was essential, but the full vision had not yet come together.
That revelation came during a worship service as the Word of God was preached from Acts 3:1–8. When the declaration “rise up and walk” was spoken, the Holy Spirit confirmed that this was not only Scripture—it was instruction.
"In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” (Acts 3:6)
Just as the man in Scripture received strength, stood, walked, and praised God, Rise Up and Walk Girls Inc. was established to help girls experience restoration, confidence, and purpose through faith-based mentorship and empowerment programs.
This organization exists because of obedience to God’s Word and continues to stand as a testimony that when God speaks, lives are transformed.

Our Mission
Rise Up and Walk Girls Inc. empowers adolescent girls through faith-centered mentorship, life-skills education, leadership development, and emotional wellness support—equipping them to overcome adversity and walk confidently in their God-given purpose.
